Anchor's Drop has 6 holiday homes (static caravans) Perfect for couples, families, or a seaside getaway.
All have two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds. All have a kitchen with all cooking facilities and living room and bath room. The Holiday Homes have their own central heating and are double glazed.
Free wifi with a flat-screen smart TV.
Group Stays
A stay like no other — gather in a lovingly restored former pub with space for 25 guests (and more if needed).
All rooms are individually and tastefully decorated.
Guests also get a flat-screen smart TV in every room and superfast wi fi..
Enjoy exclusive access to Games room, use of the former bar including dart board, quiz machine and kareoke. Group Stays have exclusive use of the main building, including the hot tub swim spa.
Anchors Drop Shop
Tucked within Anchor’s Drop, our village shop is here to make your stay that little bit easier. Stocked with local produce, fresh essentials, and daily newspapers, it’s the perfect place to pick up everything from breakfast basics to special treats.
Open every day from 8–10am and 2–6pm, the shop is a convenient stop whether you’re preparing for a day exploring Exmoor, stocking up for your holiday home, or just grabbing a paper and some milk.
2025 season - important update.
Sadly, the pub and bar are not open to the public, but remain available for exclusive group stay bookings. The village shop is open daily for both guests and the local community.
The long-awaited sea defence works were completed in 2023. Our holiday homes continue to operate as normal, but the bar and hotel rooms will not reopen for the 2025 season.
Instead, the Main Building is available for group stays, sleeping up to 22+ people, with exclusive use of the bar area, two kitchens, the clifftop garden, hot tub, and swim spa.
Our self-catering holiday homes can be booked directly here on our website — always the cheapest way to book. Please note caravans are self-catering only, and no other facilities will be open.
